Creating the best version of yourself begins with working together to establish an environment of trust and understanding. I will provide individualized support specific to your needs with a collaborative approach. Together, we will work to outline desired changes and make a plan that is most realistic for you.

I enjoy incorporating mindfulness and meditation into therapy as I have 12 years of experience practicing it. As an artist, I also love utilizing art into therapy as a way of expressing feelings and emotions when maybe words aren’t cutting it. I mainly practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Feminist Therapy, and Emotionally-Focused Therapy. Through these therapies, we will identify what your goals are, identify negative patterns and learn new ways to respond to them to meet those goals. I have experience working with anxiety, LGBTQ+ individuals, and complex trauma. I practice anti-racism and create space for folks that is inclusive to all backgrounds and lived experiences. I am also a cisgender queer woman for those seeking a queer therapist.

I hold a Master’s Degree from Roosevelt University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

Examples of my experience and clinical interests:

  • Anxiety
  • LGBTQ+ individuals
  • PTSD and complex trauma
  • Family issues
  • Boundary setting
  • Adjustment Disorders
  • Depression
  • Children/young adults/adults
