Bodies at Ease
The gentle exercises we practice and learn in this group help you gain more conscious control of your movements and feel more comfortable, relaxed, and centered in your body.
Through mindfulness exercises, we'll practice increasing our body awareness during simple daily activities such as walking, sitting, eating, and conversing. We'll observe our current movement patterns with nonjudgmental self-compassion, and then explore the effects of simple cues, visualizations, and affirmations on those patterns.
Immediately helpful skills and take-away exercises for those with chronic pain, difficult or negative body images, or discomfort staying in touch with your body.
