Chicago Mindful Psychotherapy (CMP) is seeking a full-time licensed or license-eligible psychotherapist to work for our growing Chicago-based practice. Our ideal candidate would be someone with clinical and/or personal experience working with populations who are diverse in terms of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, and other diversity factors. Our CMP clinical staff is diverse in background, training, and specialities.
We are seeking a candidate whose specialities may include (but are not limited to): couples therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness/meditation, trauma-informed therapy, couples/relationship counseling, grief and loss counseling, addiction management and recovery response, and crisis de-escalation. Candidates will have flexibility to work fully or partly remotely or in-person at our Andersonville location and/or Loop location. Hours are flexible, but will likely require some evening and weekend availability to accommodate clients. Prior experience working in a private, group practice is welcomed, but not required. Willingness to meet with individuals, as well as with couples or families is strongly preferred. Willingness to facilitate group therapy sessions), or offering workshops to clients is a plus.
Salary: $40-48/hr depending on licensure + base pay $200/every two weeks; Full-time is considered 23+ clinical hours

COVID-19 considerations: At this time, our office locations are open for in-person therapy, but staff and clients must provide proof of vaccination in order to conduct in-person therapy sessions. We firmly follow CDC guidelines for masking for all in-office therapy sessions, regardless of vaccination status. Telehealth is widely used to conduct therapy services. We continue to hold all staff meetings and clinician training via Telehealth. We expect to remain working primarily remotely through, at least, Winter 2022. Our procedures and policies are modified, as needed, in response to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
