Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a type of cognitive therapy that works to help participants identify and change negative patterns of thinking and pushes for positive behavioral changes that are long-lasting. The workshop is designed to help participants learn concrete skills to be more present, less overwhelmed, and feel more in control. DBT is a powerful and proven intervention that provides you with real-life, take-home skills in 4 areas: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness.
This group is structured as a four-module treatment, and each module lasts four weeks. Though you do not need to commit to completing all four modules, we do ask for your commitment to attend all four sessions for each module. No drop ins, and there are no make-up days. Each group session will run for 60-90 minutes depending on the size of the group.
Maximum of 15 participants.
