Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction is an 8-week evidence based curriculum targeted to learn meditation strategies to reduce stress, physical pain, and emotional suffering. In this class, we will learn and practice several forms of meditation, as well as integrate new skills of stress-reduction into our daily lives.
Over 30 years of research, originating at University of Massachusetts (UMASS) Medical School, shows that training in mindfulness can positively impact:

Chicago Mindful Psychotherapy’s MBSR course consists of eight sessions of 2.5 hours each and one full day retreat.
