The Girls Room is a 6-week therapy group that aims to create a therapeutic space with a goal to improve self-image and self-esteem in middle school girls and femme-identifying youth.
Participants in this group will have the opportunity to share and openly discuss the factors that may contribute to potential doubt in themselves from a social, academic, and relational perspective as they navigate a transitionary period of adolescence. Various topics will be covered ranging from personal narratives, interpersonal connections, and general empowerment with the hope for each member to create a positive, holistic self-concept.
